The Pit scabarite features in the Wise Old Man's player-owned house during the quest Love Story. Zenevivia redecorated the house adding a dungeon full of traps, as well as many pit creatures to guard the dungeon. They may also be put in your player-owned house after the quest with 84 Construction.
Although the pit scabarite in the Wise Old Man's house drops bones, those in a player's dungeon drop nothing.
