Plate is a trade good obtained from player-owned ports. It is a reward from completing voyages upon reaching the Hook region. It is used to create Tetsu armour. One can gain plate from The Missionary and The Convict storylines, The Whaler specific voyages, and some standard voyages. If one wishes to 'farm' plate, it is recommended to build two Whaler and one Biologist statue, and use their joint mission.
The maximum amount of Plates a player can store at one time is 250. Any successful voyages after this will not increase the total.
