The Polished red dragon tail-bone is given after polishing Red dragon tail-bone by putting the Red dragon tail-bone in a Pot of vinegar and boiling it next to the Odd Old Man with the Pot boiler. This item is needed for the Fur 'n' Seek Wish list that you get after completion of the Fur 'n' Seek quest as part of the assignment of getting the tail-bone of 9 different members of the dragon family.
