Polypore Strike is a unique level 80 Magic air spell, tied to the Polypore staff. It can be found in all three spellbooks: The standard spellbook, the Lunar spellbook, and the Ancient Magicks spellbook. Each cast of Polypore Strike consumes one charge (5 Fire runes and 1 Polypore spore) from a charged polypore staff.

The fact that Polypore Strike may be cast on any spellbook makes it a highly versatile spell.

Cost

As stated above, one cast of Polypore Strikes uses up one of the staff's charges, which must be recharged with fire runes and polypore spores. The cost of one such charge is currently:

Trivia

• Polypore Strike, Home Teleport and Spellbook Swap are the only three spells to be featured in more than one spellbook, and Polypore Strike and Home Teleport are the only two spells to be featured in all three spellbooks.
• Although fire runes are used for this spell, Polypore Strike is an air spell.
• Despite being a level 80 spell, Polypore Strike is limited to the damage of a level 75 spell by the Polypore Staff which is required to cast it.
