The Princess Outfit consists of a princess blouse and princess skirt. One piece of the outfit can be acquired by opening a random event gift box from the Frogs random event. The outfit cannot be traded to other players or sold to stores. It should be noted that only a female character may wear the princess outfit. If gender is changed whilst wearing it (going to the Makeover Mage) then the outfit will change into a prince costume, the male equivalent, which is obtained in the same way. If the player changes their gender and attempts to wear the outfit of the opposite gender, it will say that the piece of clothing magically changes into the the opposite gender's equivalent.
If you happen to lose the Princess Outfit, the only way to obtain it again is to get the frogs random event again.
Both the Princess outfit and the Prince outfit can be stored in a player's costume room to save bank space.
Trivia
Before the random event update, a player could talk to Thessalia and trade in a frog token for the entire princess outfit (the princess blouse and the princess skirt). If you lost your outfit it was also possible to get it back by talking to Thessalia again.
Before the random event gift was released; it was possible to exploit a glitch where the Princess outfit could be worn by male players The result would be: the system would recognise the gender difference and change it to a Prince outfit, but the colours of the Princess outfit remained. This has since been fixed by Jagex.File:Dress.png
