A Promethium maul is a weapon used in the Dungeoneering skill. It is made from Promethium Ore, requiring 4 bars, and a Smithing level of 98, and a Strength level of 90 to wield. Promethium maul can also be obtained as a drop. It is most commonly dropped by Rammernaut but may also be obtained by level 120 Forgotten warriors, or Brutes whilst wielding the maul.
It is incredibly strong, bearing some of the best statistical bonuses among the Dungeoneering skill's weapons. It has a higher strength bonus than the Promethium two-handed sword; however, it lacks the Slash melee style that is also available in the two-handed sword.
