Raffle ticket detail

A Raffle ticket is a voucher that players can use to enter a daily raffle called Balthazar's Big Raffle during September 2014 and 2015. Rewards for winning the raffle depend on the day of the week, and a set number of those rewards are distributed each day. Raffle tickets do not need to be used the day they are received. There is no limit to the number of raffle tickets that can be entered into a daily raffle.

Players can obtain a maximum of four tickets per day using the following methods:

  1. Talk to Balthazar near the Burthorpe lodestone.
  2. Turn in a completed daily challenge to Challenge Mistress Fara in Burthorpe or attend a Jmod meet-up event in the Lumbridge Crater at a set time (2014), get one from Gilly Willikers (2015).
  3. During the Treasure Hunter promotion in 2014, 20 unused challenge tokens could be turned in to Captain Haskell in exchange for 1 ticket every 10 tokens every day. (Up to twice per day.) When a player talks about raffle tickets with him, he says "I did have some raffle tickets to spare, but I've given them all away now. I'm going to use the rest of mine in the raffle. I think a golden godsword would suit me. You should be able to get some from Balthazar, every day though."

During the 2015 raffle, a rummage ticket is received for every 5 raffle tickets handed in.

Trivia

  • While receiving a ticket from a Jagex Moderator would give no message, attempting to get another would display the following: Mod <name> tried to give you a raffle ticket, but you've already had your free ticket from a JMod today!
  • When receiving a raffle ticket from completing a daily challenge, the following message is shown: You receive your additional daily raffle ticket.
  • If you hand in a daily challenge with a full inventory, you'll get the message: "You don't have enough inventory space for your additional daily raffle ticket, so it has been placed on the floor."
  • If you still had some 2014 tickets and try to use them in the 2015 raffle, Balthazar will say they look like fakes and confiscate them.
