This article is about the raw version. For the cooked version, see Bass.
A raw bass can be fished by any members who have level 46 Fishing or higher using a big fishing net at a Net/Harpoon fishing spot. They can be cooked with level 43 Cooking. Catching a raw bass gives 100 fishing experience each.
It is also possible for members to catch a big bass so they can hang it up in the skill hall in a player-owned house.
Players wearing a Ring of Charos (a) can trade a raw bass to the spirit named Fossegrimen located at her sacrifice altar south of Rellekka as a replacement for a raw shark to enchant their lyre.
Bass are not frequently fished, as it is a bit unpredictable as to how many the player will get in one haul, and are frequently caught with items like caskets and seaweed.
