Raw sharks can be fished by members who have level 76 Fishing or higher. Sharks give 110 Fishing experience per catch. Sharks are fished with harpoons from Net/Harpoon fishing spots, but they can also be fished bare-handed which requires a Fishing level of 96, a Strength level of 76, and partial completion of Barbarian Training. Players with an Agility level of at least level 76 have a chance of catching two sharks at once, with this chance increasing until level 99 Agility.
If the tier 5 prawn perk has been unlocked at the Prawnbroker, there is a 50% chance to catch a raw great white shark instead of a raw shark when fishing.
Fishing spots are located at the Fishing Guild, Catherby, Ape Atoll, Burgh de Rott, Rellekka, Jatizso, north-west of the Elf Camp, and west of the Feldip Hunter Area.

Obtaining and usage[]
Sharks can be foraged by granite lobsters, a level 74 Summoning familiar. Players can catch 125–320 sharks an hour, giving 13,000-40,000 Fishing experience an hour, depending on Fishing level. When wearing a Shark's tooth necklace you will receive an extra 5% exp when fishing these.
Raw sharks can be offered to the Fremennik spirit Fossegrimen, who will then bless a lyre with two charges (four if wearing Fremennik sea boots) to teleport to Rellekka, although it may be cheaper to use a bass while wearing the Ring of charos (a). Raw sharks are the tertiary ingredient to make a Bunyip pouch using the Summoning skill. Players may receive raw shark from opening a box of summoning ingredients, a possible reward from Familiarisation. Noted raw sharks are possible rewards from Temple Trekking and can sometimes be found inside barrels.
