Raw turkey is an item that players can turn into cooked turkey via the Cooking skill by using it on a fire or a range. This grants 30 Cooking experience points if done successfully, although there is a risk of producing burnt turkey instead. Cooked turkey is a food item, but heals only 200 life points when consumed, despite its large size.

Players could obtain raw turkey meat as a possible drop when killing a wild turkey as part of the 2008 Thanksgiving event, or Angry Turkeys during the 2011 Thanksgiving event (although in both instances they may receive a raw turkey drumstick instead), the 2012 Thanksgiving event, the 2012 New Year's celebrations, and the 2013 Thanksgiving event.

Like all recent holiday drops, raw turkey is not tradeable by any means. This item was not removed from the game when the Thanksgiving event ended.

Raw turkeys were a part of the 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2013 Thanksgiving events. A separate raw turkey item was obtained in the 2009 Thanksgiving event.
