A Raw turkey drumstick was received as a possible drop from wild turkeys during the 2008 Thanksgiving event. Players can use it on a range or a fire to turn it into a cooked turkey drumstick via the Cooking skill, and gain 30 experience points. A cooked drumstick heals 20 life points when eaten. Otherwise, their only value is as a souvenir.
Drumsticks were dropped less frequently than raw turkeys, and therefore they are rarer. After the event was over they did not disappear, unlike the candy from the 2008 Hallowe'en event. However, as with the raw turkey, players cannot sell them to general stores or to other players (whether directly or via the Grand Exchange).
Rumours are circulating that these never burn when cooked, but these are false. The drumsticks may burn to become a burnt turkey drumstick.
