Raw yak meat can be obtained by killing a Yak on the Fremennik isle of Neitiznot. When cooked, it will turn into regular cooked meat and grant the player 30 cooking experience.

Tip: You don't need to kill yaks directly to get the meat, because often there are many other players which kill them for yak hair and are not interested in the meat. You need just pick the meat and bank it which is pretty fast due to very close bank in Neitiznot.

Players who paid Vanligga Gastfrihet's taxes in the Fremennik Isles quest can buy them from her for a price of 2 gp each. She is very close to a bank, so purchasing meat from her is a faster method than killing yaks.
