The red topaz machete is the highest tier of machete available.

The machete in general is a useful tool for jungle exploration and Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup, because it can cut through the undergrowth whereas normal hatchets can't.

It can be obtained by buying one from Gabooty's store, with a price of 2,000 trading sticks or by bringing 1200 trading sticks, 3 cut or uncut red topaz and a gout tuber to Safta Doc in Tai Bwo Wannai village. Alternatively one can buy one from another player or on the Grand Exchange. The red topaz machete can be added to the tool belt.

Getting Safta Doc to create a red topaz machete will count towards the That's Not A Knife... task in the Karamja Tasks.
