Refined is an Invention perk that decreases the chance of depleting resources from trees and mining rocks when harvested. The perk will not activate when players harvest from fishing spots. It can be created in tool gizmos.

If a rock or tree would be depleted from harvesting, the refined perk has a 5% chance per rank to not deplete the resource. The effect can activate multiple times on a resource.

When activated, the refined perk gives the following game message: Your refined perk prevented the resource from being depleted.

The refined perk has the same effect as the resourceful aura. When used together, they activate separately (i.e. if one saves the tree, the other will not).
