With rank 3, Anticipation's cooldown is lowered by 12 seconds while its duration is lowered by 5.4, decreasing its uptime from 42.5% to 40%. If used carefully right before the player is about to be stunned, this can allow them to prevent more stuns more frequently without having to rely on Freedom.
Although there is a net loss in the overall time Anticipation can be active, its decreased cooldown means it can be activated more often when a player may need Anticipation's effects for brief periods, such as phase 3 of Araxxor, during which his special attacks are used more frequently than in previous phases.
