A Research package is an item that players must deliver to Aubury in the quest Rune Mysteries. It is obtained from Sedridor. If a player dies while having a Research package in his/her inventory, he/she can go back to Sedridor to teleport it back.
According to the Wise Old Man when asking you to check your bank for you, Sedridor's research into the mysteries of the runes is very interesting, but you don't need it.
Trivia
- It is possible to get more than one Research Package. You get multiple packages by dropping, talking to Sedridor and getting another one, and then picking up the one you dropped. There is not much point to this however, as they cannot be sold, alched or made of any particular use.
- You can sell the research package to the wise old man in exchange for some money (1gp).
