|Examine||When wearing this ring, you will avoid Death's office on death (does not work in PvP) and have a chance to gain adrenaline upon killing your enemy.|
- When a target is killed, there is a 50% chance of restoring the wearer's adrenaline by 1% for every 1500 of the target's maximum life points, to a maximum of 5% adrenaline.
- If the wearer dies, they will be teleported to the last respawn hub visited, with all items intact (including familiars), at a cost of 15% of the ring's charge (effectively costing 490,896 coins). This effect does not work while in the Wilderness.
When using the ring, one should consider how many times they may die while fighting a boss, and how much it costs to reclaim the items from Death. If the reclaim cost is lower than the value stated above, players are better off paying Death or reclaiming the items themselves. The ring is useful in high-level boss fights where multiple switches are used, such as Nex: Angel of Death and Solak.
The ring currently has the highest style bonuses of any ring, as well as the highest Prayer bonus of any ring.
The ring degrades to a broken state after 100,000 hits in combat; as with all enchanted hydrix jewellery, it can be recharged by 50% by using a cut onyx on it (so a full recharge effectively costs 3,272,638 coins).
If the ring is lost in the Wilderness, the killer is rewarded with 625,000 coins and the ring is not reobtainable.
When attempting to wear a new (tradeable) ring, a warning message will appear stating that if you wear it, it will become permanently untradeable. Even if it is not used or onyxes are used to return it to full charges, it is still untradeable. One should consider if they will be using the ring often before equipping it.
