Future update
This article contains information about an upcoming update.
It should consist only of facts from official Jagex releases and not speculation or predictions. For further details, see our future content policy.

The Ritual of the Mahjarrat is a planned future quest, and has been confirmed to be the final quest of the Mysteries of the Mahjarrat quest series[1]. While current information is limited, it has been stated that the quest will be Grandmaster, and that Sliske, a strange, mysterious Mahjarrat subject to much speculation, will be involved in it[2]. Based on the title, it is very likely that the The Ritual of Rejuvenation will take place during the quest, supported by the fact that it will be a Grandmaster quest (which would perfectly contain such a large and dramatic event). This quest will also tie with While Guthix Sleeps and A Tail of Two Cats. The Chaos Elemental hinted that more than one Mahjarrat will die in the quest.

In the hint from Mod Ash, two of the requirements for this quest will be 78 woodcutting and 83 fletching. This raises the minimum woodcutting level and fletching level required for the quest point cape, and later, Mod Paul hinted that one of the requirements for The Ritual of the Mahjarrat might be 65 Dungeoneering.

Regarding standard game updates, I'm very excited about a three-part quest we're writing on the various Orders of Knights within the game (that will be released with a new minigame), and also the quest that Paul Gower (the original creator of the RuneScape back story and the other co-founder) is writing that concludes one of our oldest storylines, called "The Ritual of the Mahjarrat".
