A rock crab wakes up and attacks an approaching player

Rock crabs are aggressive monsters that look like harmless rocks while they are sleeping, and wake up and attack unsuspecting players that pass by. These monsters are quite popular training monsters, because of their low combat level and high hitpoints. Rock crabs are also a good source of gold charms for lower level players. Most rock crabs are located in Multi-combat areas, making them good targets for cannons. However, many players consider cannons to be a form of kill stealing. It should be noted that, unlike other enemies and NPCs, rock crabs are not marked with yellow dots on the minimap. This is probably due to the fact that the crabs' appearance camouflages them as rocks. Rock crabs start off looking just like a bunch of rocks until you walk near them, which makes them 'wake up' and they start attacking you. If after a while they stop attacking you even when you walk near them, just run down to the Rellekka entrance then back to the rock crabs and they should start attacking again.
