Roger Murray is the plaintiff in the Mugger v. Roger Murray court case. He has a general reputation in Edgeville as being a poor and unlucky gambler.
During the court case, Roger alleges that he was assaulted by a mugger and was robbed of his recent winnings from a gamble he had been involved in. It is unclear as to whether Roger is being truthful about the stolen money, or if he fabricated this in an attempt to obtain compensation.
It is revealed during the trial that Roger has been involved with the Edgeville guards before. If the arresting officer is called as a witness, he claims that Roger is not the most trustworthy person he has met and was often reluctant to give information to the law.
