Welcome to the RuneScape Wiki Counter Vandalism Unit. This page is here to help combat vandalism on articles.
This page is monitored by administrators who have the ability to deal with vandals and stop them from causing further damage to the wiki. Vandalism is an offence that a user may be blocked for. If you have noticed vandalism on an article, please post the article and name of the offending user or IP address under the Current vandalism section, and it will be dealt with.
Administrators
Here is a list of administrators who can be contacted via their RuneScape usernames:
- Amaurice (User:Amaurice) - I sometimes have PM on when I play (UK in evenings). Try here if I'm offline.
- Chiafriend12 (User:Chiafriend12) - Message me if something's been vandalized.
- Clv309 (User:Clv309) - I'm nearly always on the wiki, or the #rswiki IRC channel, and happy to help!
- Cool Spy0 (User:Cool Spy0) - Except when extremely late or early, I'm on the Wiki a lot and will be happy to help. Please post on my talk page if needed.
- Dechaineux (User:Dechaineux) - Contact me on my talk page or send me a message.
- Dtm142 (User:Dtm142) - You can contact me ingame or on my talk page.
- Emosworld (User:Emosworld) - Get lost, I've retired (jking). I have retired though, but don't get lost, report vandalism when I'm gone to other admins, there's heaps around.
- Endasil (User:Endasil) - I've got my user talk linked to gmail, so leave me a message there
- Gangsterls (User:Gangsterls) - Private chat is on, I'm almost always on RS or the wiki so just pm me or leave a message on my talk page.

- Occult Girl (User:Whiplash) - If its an attack on a user, i'll be swift and brutal.
- Oddlyoko (User:Oddlyoko) - I usually have private chat "on", but you can also leave a message on my talk, I'm usually watching the Wiki.
- Sacre Fi (User:Sacre Fi) - I have private chat on, feel free to tell me when something's amiss.
- Stinkowing (User:Stinkowing) - Tell me if something's wrong; I only have every and any chat off when I'm videoing. That, or contact me on IRC.
- Syugecin (User:Syugecin) - PM me or go on my talk. I'll be on it.
- Tesfan (User:Tesfan) If I'm on RuneScape, I'll be watching the wiki.
What is vandalism?
Please only report an incident of vandalism if one or more of the following is occurring:
- Blanking pages.
- Posting offensive material, whether it be images or words.
- Contributing nonsense.
- A language other than English is added.
- False or deceptive information is being added to an article.
- Personal attacks on a user.
- Content which encourages breaking the 15 game rules.
- Advertising in any form (aside from websites listed under "External Links" which relate to the article that it is being put in)
- Articles about players.
- Impersonating another user.
What is not vandalism?
Vandalism is not:
- A discussion where differing opinions are being debated or discussed.
- Common mistakes, such as incorrect categorisation or misspelled words.

Objections
If you feel you have been wrongly accused of vandalism you will have to leave a comment on your talk page. Comments left will be read by an administrator.
Current vandalism
Administrators: Please review the block list when making a decision. When a vandal has been dealt with, please remove the entry.
Reporters: When referencing a vandal account, please use the cvuid template: {{cvuid|username}}. This applies for I.P. addresses as well.
