Support - When working with him on the Wikifests, I assigned him the job of controlling the CC; a job I didn't even trust myself with. I can't see any reason not to support. Xmas07 presentsStelercusSanta hat detail 14:16, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

Support - Calm and friendly, did a great job as the wikifest cc controller. Id support him just to have him as a moderator for events. His high stats help, especially in PvM where some other candidates for the team wouldn't survive long enough to be of any help as a moderator. Neutral, Leaning towards Support - Even though he has experience in leading large teams in PvMs, my issue with Warthog is his anger, he often lashes out and rages making it difficult to work with him. However, if he were to prove he could control his anger, I would support.

Support - I think your experience with PvM/ bossing would be invaluable. You have also shown the ability to organise events such as your Wiki-God Wars Dungeon trips. - [Pharos] 13:31, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

Neutral - I'm somewhat concerned about anger/leaving the project. HaloTalk 21:58, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

Just to say, I would never leave the project on an anger based grounds (Unless I was kicked out). I would only leave if I felt that I wouldn't be able to maintain activity within the game. Even if it were to come to that, I would make a formal warning to the rest of the events team so they can decide what to do about the open spot. Comment - Can I just say about my anger, I do get angry and I won't turn around and lie and make up very bureaucratic excuses about me never getting angry, because that would be a lie. I feel that I can control my anger in situations, and quite frankly, after most of my outbursts, I do actually just stop and request whoever I'm conflicting with to take it to a talk page or take it to ingame pm. Support - You say you have experience with organising clans, which would be of great use,   Swizz Talk   Events!   13:14, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

Just to clarify myself, as I'm still easing into the RS Wikia community and only a handful of people really know me, I was Scheduler/Cape event runner/Cape event creator for the Caped Carousers for nearly a year. I managed the schedule (deciding who can run events, when, where, etc) and created the special weekend events. (: Urbancowgurl777 (talk) 15:09, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

Oppose - The idea of this proposal is to work as a team. However it would be difficult to work with Brains because a majority of the people on this list are in a completely difficult timezone. Also, I know that this has been bought up over and over again but he can complicate things and sometimes doesn't know what he's doing, for example when he tried to start the SC event against RHQ he bought the proposal to the Site Mod instead of the RHQ Events Team , who then later passed the proposal onto me to organise.   Swizz Talk   Events!   13:14, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

I was told to speak to him by RuneHQ's members in their Clan Chat. Do I look lost and not knowing what I am doing, any other (better) examples you can present? Also, I cannot change my timezone, and that is an incredibly poor reason to base an oppose on. 222 talk 00:06, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
May I also add that it's extremely poor reasoning to oppose due to time zone? Do you actually expect a team full of Europeans/Americans consider Aussies when making an event? You are completely removing Aussies from attending/preparing events by opposing due to that. Then, for the events team thing, everyone makes mistakes. You have taken part in some events yourself, I'd be shocked if you didn't make a couple of them. bad_fetustalk 21:20, December 28, 2010 (UTC)
That was not my main reason to oppose. The main was the first point. However I do still think having Australians in the team will be a problem because of time difference (we'd only be able to talk on the mornings of weekends). Perhaps we could make 2 teams?   Swizz Talk   Events!   09:48, December 29, 2010 (UTC)
I wouldn't mind that, it would mean more events for both sides of the world, and not needing to take into account the other hemisphere. 222 talk 09:50, December 29, 2010 (UTC)
We could just have an extra space in the team making it 6 people, and if we get 1 or 2 people active in your timezone they could take charge of events in that time.   Swizz Talk   Events!   13:06, December 29, 2010 (UTC)

I'm not holding him back because of his timezone. But because when he is online most on this list are asleep and we wont be able to get any thing done. Would you rather us all have shitty events than you getting in the events team for the lols?   Swizz Talk   Events!   10:07, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
I don't want to start an argument over timezones, but each one of use has a decent amount of time to speak to each other at anytime in the day. You yourself are awake just after we finish dinner, leaving over 3 hours of time to talk, which is enough. As for America, they are finishing dinner just when we are waking up the next morning, again leaving hours of time to discuss, I don't see how this will cause "shitty" events, nor do I appreciate you believing I want to be in the events team for the "lols", I know you don't like us much as you've said so, but don't make a poor argument stand up for it. 222 talk 10:47, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

@Harle, because of RS:C, a support by itself is insufficient to be counted. Now that you've provided some reasons (first sentence), it works. @Melon, I guess I didn't notice. I will blame this on the fact that I have somewhere between 20/150 and 20/200 vision, even though that's almost completely irrelevant. Comment - I'm not trying to argue Halo's oppose or anything at all like that, I just want to make a point about why I'm actually interested in the events team. I want to become more involved with the Runescape Wiki Community but I'm really not much of an editor or anything and I feel like I could use this as a way to achieve a closer tie to the site community. Besides that, I do enjoy events, even though I've been to only one Wikifest. I enjoyed it a lot, and I had some ideas and criticisms to modify both the activities, and the structure to how it was run. Additionally, I have tried taking it upon myself to start some regular activities in the past, notably a Castle wars team but admittedly, it did fall apart soon after it started. I think that the events team could be a way to engage the community in a better way. Thanks. melonWatermelon slice 22:56, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, I am Adianoeta and I regularly spend my time in the CC and participate in spontaneous CC Events. I think this shouldn't focus much on activity but rather content I can produce. Creativity > Activity. Floppyc5 22:49, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

Support - He really wants to become more involved with the Wiki community as a whole, has done fun userspace-based stuff (not necessarily events related, but evidence he has good ideas and likes to have a little fun!) and is generally pleasant and easy to get along with. melonWatermelon slice 21:30, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

Comment - Could this please be removed. I can't possibly take it seriously, and it's a waste of time leaving this here. 222 talk 07:43, January 5, 2011 (UTC)

Closed - The user needs not only an account, but also understand this is not a joke before he can request ET membership. If he chooses to run again after making an account, I suggest he spend more time in the community first. Xmas07 presentsStelercusSanta hat detail 10:34, January 5, 2011 (UTC)
