Oppose - Not much can be done about it but I don't like that it's off center and I think the ground texture makes the objects look a bit floaty. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Henneyj (talk).
Support - When I took the shot, it was to make a cleaner cut of what Spine did previously, although I could not get it dead center. This was due to focus mode doesn't allow smooth transitions when changing directions, only Up and Down is it smooth. Description: Saradomin uses the power of Stone of Jas to heal Zilyana.
Reason: What's not to like here? This was a great cutscene. In it, we see Saradomin himself. It also featured some of the best animations to date in RS. As for the image itself, it was captured at a excellent moment, and we see Saradomin taking power from the stone.

But but but it's a SPOILER!!!! Now people who haven't done Ritual of the Mahjarrat will know things like:
1. Saradomin exists! Those bullying atheists are in for the shock of their lives.
2. Commander Zilyana is Saradomist! I think there's a conflict of interest being represented in this image. Zilyana being healed by her own god? Really, Jagex?
3. The Stone of Jas looks like a ball in a cup! Also, it glows blue.

Putting on my serious hat for a moment, the point was to illustrate that this, too, could be a spoiler for someone who hasn't done RotM. It is not as big a spoiler as some others that have been debated, but it's a spoiler nonetheless. The point of that is that you can't really define what is "enough" of a spoiler to warrant hiding, splitting, separating, what have you.

Zanaris

Description: The astonishing plane of the mystical fairies.
Reason: I really like how the tree house and the pond look, especially together. Then, the plants look nice and it was damn hard to capture the butterflies but no player. The purple fog looks... not bad, giving off an aura of mystery.

Personally, I don't think you should. If the images were of the same things then a replacement might be necessary, but these just happen to be taken in the same place. Anywho, the chances that an average user noticing that there are two similar images taken in the same area is pretty low, imo, and if both images are of good quality, why not have them both featured? Reason: This image captures one of the most pivotal moments in RuneScape. We have Lucien, who is perhaps the most powerful Mahjarrat to ever set foot in Gielinor. He's in possession of the Staff of Armadyl, a godly artifact that amplifies his natural powers to such a degree that he's just about invincible. He's just taken the worst that all the other Mahjarrat can throw at him, including Azzanadra's Zaros-assisted over-9000 hit. Oh, and that was before he touched the Stone of Jas. Are we all done, everyone? Yes, we are all done. Until three dragonkin show up. And taunt him. And get him to attack them. And in a brilliant display of dragonkin kung fu, proceed to severely ruin Lucien's day. This screenshot captures what I remember as the point at which Lucien's defeat became apparent: The Staff of Armadyl is stripped from him and broken, and he's put onto the ground. Following this moment, Lucien is speared with the staff, ending him once and for all. I wish for us to commemorate this incredible moment with a front-page feature.

Duellist's cap

Description: The Cap for the Mightiest of Duelers.
Reason: we're never really had a gif for a featured image before, this one i nominated because of how well it renders, it so smooth, you rarely get gifs like that, it clear, you can't see the loop, in my eyes, it may have a chance of being one of the top images, and it has to be the best gif i ever seen on wiki! :)

Neutral - Looks very cool, but 4xAA AND resized makes it look a bit too soft. And the greenscreen is great for gif's, but not as a FIMG. But this definitely has a chance. Fsw e1 12:19, May 28, 2012 (UTC)
Oppose - I just don't think a continuously looping gif on the main page is such a good idea. It'd just look like another advertisement, which we alreday have enough of. I think it would be better to have still images only. Also, one of the requirements for featured images is that the dimensions must be 250x250px. This image is 300px wide, so it would stretch the whole sidebar of the main page. I'm not saying this image isn't good, I'm just saying it would be bad to put it on the main page.
