I would also rather not get caught up in the business/politics side of Wiki at this time. Once I become more familiar with the folks here and how they edit, then I may feel more comfortable making a clear decision about choosing an admin. Until then, keep up the good work and good luck! |

Dechaineux has been a member of the RSWiki for quite a while. In these times, along with making the usual improvements to the Wiki, he has also helped fight vandalism and other nonsense by placing reports on the Counter Vandalism Unit and marking appropriate articles and images for deletion. Seeing as how he has made correct use of reporting, he should be able to use the administrator tools appropriately. File:Bowman hat.pngTarikochi 00:03, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
I, Dechaineux, accept this nomination for adminship. I have read the policies concerning administrators. I realize that this nomination may fail. If I do get community consensus, I promise not to abuse my powers because I realize that this is a serious offence and if the community finds that I have done so, my powers will be revoked and in extreme cases I could be given a community ban. Signed, Dechaineux Talk 01:10, 18 November 2007 (UTC).
Discussion
Comment - While I’m happy to accept the nomination for adminship, due to the extension of abilities it will provide me as an editor, I realise that I’m not particularly well known around the Wiki just yet (as Chiafriend12 has already pointed out). As such, while I will accept Tarikochi’s kind offer, if the Wiki community does not feel confident enough about my trustworthiness as yet, I am happy to wait until a later date for such increased responsibility. Many thanks, Dechaineux Talk 01:10, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Oppose (but may change) - I must say, I've never heard of him until last week, so I do not know if he can be trusted with adminship. Dechaineux does look trustworthy from his editcount and block log, but I do not know their personality, so I have no idea if he will go on "bad". - Since you do not know his personality, you will not know if he will go "good" either. File:Bowman hat.pngTarikochi 01:02, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
- Comment - Well, maybe you could try to get to know him better. Personally, I haven't heard of him until today, but I, personally, would be willing to get to know him better and see what he's like. File:Bloodbarrage.pngButterman62File:Icebarrage.png 22:23, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Oppose - per Chia. EmosworldFile:Sysopcrown.PNG 21:03, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Comment - You're opposing because you don't know him? Frankly, I find that to be offensive. Go check their edits or just don't vote. Were I to administer adminship on this person I would quite happily ignore the two oppose here because they just say to me that you don't know him well enough to vote. Comment - Hmmmmm..... Vimescarrot, you do seem to make a point. Now, I'm not really sure. Emosworld 08:19, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Comment - I really don't know him well enough to make a vote. I have gone over his contributions all of which have been positive. But he seems to be unknown by most of the community especially for an editor editing since March. Whiplash 20:40, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Neutral - Comment As of this moment, I feel it would be unfair to vote for or against you since I do not know you, nor how you edit. I haven't been here very long, so I feel it would be an injustice to all who wish to become admin. I would also rather not get caught up in the business/politics side of Wiki at this time. Once I become more familiar with the folks here and how they edit, then I may feel more comfortable making a clear decision about choosing an admin. Until then, keep up the good work and good luck! --Momenator70 14:22, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
