I would like to nominate I R Zaros to become an administrator because he is a hard working editor on the Runescape Wiki. I have seen his contributions, making many neat and very helpful edits. He is always patrolling, cleaning up the smallest of articles all the way to editing the biggest, hunting down those who cause trouble, and helping those who are new to the Wiki. It is a shame that this hero of the Wiki is only limited to small powers, if he was given the right tools, he would be a God, and the Wiki would become the best place for Runescape information. I R Zaros for Administration. -- Micha499 14:20, 3 January 2009 (UTC).
I, I R Zaros, accept this nomination for adminship. I have read the policies concerning administrators. I realize that this nomination may fail. If I do get community consensus, I promise not to abuse my powers because I realise that this is a serious offence and if the community finds that I have done so, my powers will be revoked and in extreme cases I could be given a community ban. Signed, Zaros FTW! I R Zaros 14:26, 3 January 2009 (UTC).
Comment - A good editor doesn't make a good sysop. I don't recall you reverting vandalism, reporting vandalism, contributing to community discussions, or doing anything else that shows you would benefit from gaining these tools. I'm also a little concerned no one has found fault with the nominator claiming that "if he was given the right tools, he would be a God".-- 03:02, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
Neutral - per Bonziiznob. I may change to support or oppose based on your edits in the next few days. Changed to Oppose per Azaz. Didn't the read the nomination as closely as I should. Be "a God"? What? Also, I don't recall any vandalism reports. Maybe you have contributed to a few community discussions, but not as many as you probably should have judging by your time here. Oppose - Per Azaz. Although you have a decent edit count, I have never seen you revert/report vandalism or contribute to any discussions such as the Yew Grove. Also per Azaz, I find "if he was given the right tools, he would be a God, and the Wiki would become the best place for Runescape information" a bit disturbing. I find it hard to believe that someone that wasn't even sure about how an RfA works would be a "God" and make this wiki "the best". Above all, you need administrative and experience and community involvement. Revert vandalism and report it to the CVU, contribute to the Yew Grove and other community discussions, and stick around for awhile. Don't penalize the user based on this. On second hand, you have done nothing administrative on this wikia therefore the needs for administrative rights is pointless. Keep up the good work though! Your a good editor.
Responses - Vandalism : The reason why I haven't accounted for any vandalism reports is because I have never actually found any vandalism. I am however always checking the recent changes to find any vandalism but I just don't find any, so you cannot blame me for the lack of vandalism supports, just because this Wiki is well controlled and there are rarely none.
Done nothing administrative : Simply because I am NOT an administrator so how could I do anything administrative. However, I am reporting things to administrators such as speedy deletion tags, and this is why I would like to become an administrator, I find most speedy deletions pretty much sluggy deletion, administrative tools can allow me to delete it immediately.
Bonziiznob's First Comment : I do not understand what you mean in that. Please run through that again.
- Re-run - I simply mean that since the creation of the account you have not had as much edits in three days per say as you have had just recently. To have an RfA for an account that is as old as this after while never having so many edits in the short period as recently. Anywho, you still don't preform administrative tasks so you don't need the rights. What is meant by administrative tasks is that a simple user can preform them. Vandal reverts (of which there is many), polls, votes, community discussions, forums, etc...
Being a God : Yeah, don't blame me for that... I didn't write that.
Finally : I did not see this whole promotion to be an administrator coming at all. One of my friends just suddenly did it to me, and I was kinda shocked, I didn't know if I could manage it. But I thought, no harm in trying, maybe I am good enough to cope with the higher powers. However, I would like to withdraw from this request, as I'd rather notify an administrator of any problems, than deal with it myself because being an administrator would take up alot of my computer time and I would just never get a chance to actually play the game. On the other hand, if you think I should NOT resign, please post so.RuneScape:Votes for deletion/Slang dictionary, a closed discussion that states on it not to make further edits?
Response - Well if it's closed, it should be removed from sight because some people may be in a rush and read things quickly. However the swearing in it is highly highly highly important and I reopened it again didn't I? Zaros FTW! I R Zaros 11:36, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, But I have no F*cking idea who you are, gain some more mainspace edits, then we'll see --13:57, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
