I, Japol1, accept this nomination for adminship. I have read the policies concerning administrators. I realize that this nomination may fail. If I do get community consensus, I promise not to abuse my powers because I realize that this is a serious offence and if the community finds that I have done so, my powers will be revoked and in extreme cases I could be given a community ban. - Oppose - I think your heart is in the right place when you edit here, but the fact remains that many people often have to clean up (or remove) your edits to make them more in keeping with the style of the Runescape wiki. I am not saying any one else is perfect. But I for one would be almost scared of what havoc you might unintentionally wreak if you had those extra buttons at your disposal. You have come a good long way since your first days here, but I think you have farther to go before you should be sysopped.--Varthlokkur 09:36, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Hurston (T # C) 09:43, 28 November 2008 (UTC) - Strong oppose - Japol1's editing skills has been below par (i.e. grammar, spelling, etc.) In addition, Japol1 ignores Wiki guidelines, policies, and advice from fellow editors. Most of the time, other editors end up cleaning up the mess made by this user. At one point, the user was suspected of using Sockpuppets. - Those multiple times are mostly reblocking under a diff time frame. Its actually 2 seperate blocks in case anyone else doesnt want to go throught the whole list to see what for. No, I am not saying its ok or good. Just figure we should have an actual block count on the kid. Not like it matters at this point really though :/. - Oppose While you might have made many valuable image edits, your grammar and instruction-following skills are very low, and you constantly ignore people directing you to the style guide. I know you really do try hard to edit, but I don't think you're capable of handling admin powers well. - Commenting because I'm already in a request. had I been an admin several months ago (not hinting at anything, I swear to god), I would've blocked your ass for what seemed to be obvious trolling. dunno what, a month to indefinite. not to mention your brother... Oppose Japol1, if theres one HUGE problem you have, just as being a user in general, it is your use of grammar. Now, im not sure if it is because English is your second language, or if you have insignificent knowledge of English as a primary language, but regardless, I don't care why. Your lack of proper grammar and knowledge of the editing styles here on this wikia are not up to normal standards. Although I am NOT, at all, asking you or anyone else to use 'perfect grammar', as I have been hearing recently, I, along with everyone else who agrees with me, ask you to improve your editing and typing, at least.
Now, for me, learning how to edit articles correctly was simply a matter of common sense, and learning from my mistakes^, but as for your case, im not sure. Perhaps you may not have understood what common sense is? But it does not matter, I suggest you study the Style Guide on this wikia a lot more, and when you do edit pages, use information based only on fact, not on opinion. I have noticed that your edits can be often based on YOUR opinions, and are often reverted because of that.
So, to make you a better editor, and to increase your chances of being an admin on this fourm, improve your writing and english. You might not like studying, but studying the style guide for a little bit each day can make you better, just don't do it at once, take your time. And I suggest you take challenging english classes, if you are in school, or if you are not in school, I suggest you look in your local phone book, or ask somebody who you know well in your area for places that can teach you english, such as night school, for example.
You may not even care about reading what I said above, but to sum up what I said: Work on your English! Then, if a year passes, and I find that your edits are more helpful to this website, I may support you, but don't count on it! A lot can happen in one year.--Pkthis 03:48, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Oppose - You've made a lot of edits and have uploaded a lot of pictures, however like everyone has said your grammar skills are lacking (a lot). If English is your second language or something, I understand. However, if you lack basic grammar in English, regardless, you should not be editing the English wiki. Comment on language skills - It is quite probable that Japol1s primary language is not English Japol1 in Pepere.org. I am NOT saying to make an exception because of this, I just believe in a little understanding before making decisions. Oppose – Although your intentions are good, many of your edits end up being fixed by other contributors. Unlike edits, users have to wait until another administrator comes along to fix an administrator action that might require adjustment.

Oppose - Bad grammar aside, I just don't see any reason to give Japol the tools... nothing that I've seen from him tells me that Japol could do anything as an Admin that he couldn't do as a normal editor. EDIT: One of his blocks (not including the constant blocks/reblocks while deciding on a block length) was under a month ago... far too recent for an admin-to-be. --Pikaandpi 18:45, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Neutral/Very weak support Unlike ALL the users i think you do help the community alot with your edits. You like any other human make mistakes and occassionally break rules unintentionally. If you want to become a sysop you should begin by reading the rules analizing your mistakes and attempting to learn some basic english. You can if its available try using google language tools and or Microsoft Word... that would make your translations a little bit more accurate and stop some complaints against your lack of english. I hope to see you as a sysop some time in the future; though your time has not yet come. You need some more experience and community support if you intend to try again in the future.
