I was reading on the Yew Grove that a few more Bureaucrats would be beneficial to the wiki. As can be seen from my actions as an administrator, I have remained calm, even during the more heated times, and have viewed all events in a neutral point of view. Most of the time I spend on the wiki is spent reverting vandalism, blocking vandals, deleting images, and any other maintenance tasks that are needed. I’m sure that adding RFAs to that list wouldn’t be too hard of a task. I’m not sure if this RFB will pass, considering that I am not as active as I should be in discussions (I do read what’s posted though). What do you think, would I make a good Bureaucrat?

I, Dr5ag2on1, accept this nomination for adminship. I have read the policies concerning administrators. I realize that this nomination may fail. If I do get community consensus, I promise not to abuse my powers because I realize that this is a serious offence and if the community finds that I have done so, my powers will be revoked and in extreme cases I could be given a community ban. Signed,

I myself was surprised to see your comment. but, w/e, it's Dr5ag2on1's request not mine I suppose. May be coloured blue in the near future.earth(t) 10:48, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Support Pending - There are three things that I consider important for someone to be an admin and vital to be a b'crat. The very first thing is in a word, maturity. The ability to show patience and deference, to be reflective and not reactionary even in the most heated situations. I believe that you have this in spades. Number three is a demonstration of involvement and a strive for the betterment of the wiki; again, a non-issue with you. However between these two lies another factor that is important yet often ignored, and that is, a deep understanding of the rules and regulations of this wiki. I have seen nothing from you that demonstrates a nescience of these rules however, looking at your edits in the "Runescape" namespace, that is, the administrative area, the vast majority of those edits are done in the "Counter Vandalism" and "Request for admin" sections and there are hardly any in the policy areas such as the Yew Grove, making it impossible for me to determine whether or not you have that deep understanding. And so I ask you, do you believe you have this discernment and, if so, is there any examples of this discernment that you can provide?--Diberville 16:08, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Comment - While I usually do not contribute to the changes made to the policies, I do have a good understanding of the policies currently enforced. An example would be during another case of deleting discussions from talk pages. One thing that I would like to see made into a policy is the essay "Don't feed the trolls", since this appears to be a major problem nowadays, and the user treatment policy only covers part of the problem.

Alright then. I have changed my pending vote to support.--Diberville 23:26, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Support - Why not? (Bad reason that I bug a lot of people for, I know, but nobody has given an answer for my question...)

Pending/Neutral - I'm convinced on the why not aspect, but I'm not convinced on the why yes aspect. Dragon medium helm! Whaddaya know?Chiafriend12Better than rune!I have 12 friends. 23:33, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Comment - There's not much that I could use to persuade you with besides that I am a trustworthy user who has never abused any of the tools available to me, and who is willing to fill the much-needed role as bureaucrat. As you probably know, there are only one or two active bureaucrats, Dtm142 being one of them (a few others seem to have become more active recently). If something happened to him we would not have any. I'm sure that there are other administrators who are better candidates for the bureaucrat permission than me, but at this time the only other administrator that is stepped up is Stinkowing, and if the current trend of opposes continues, we still wont have enough active bureaucrats. The RuneScape Wiki needs another person who can perform bureaucrat tasks if and when Dtm142 is not available, otherwise we will have to turn to the Wikia staff.

Support - Always remains calm and neutral (not to mention mature) in discussions, as well as having reverted many counts of vandalism and blocking the vandals. A great editor and soon to be a great bureaucrat. Lexmarkmantalk  00:10, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
