Nex Undique is one of the most helpful users I have met. He has done plenty of antivandal work, and has helped to tidy up the wiki by ensuring that unnecessary and duplicate images are speedy deleted and that pages are correctly categorised. He's also very helpful towards other users if they need help or are doing something incorrectly. I believe he has the maturity to handle and would benefit greatly from the use of these tools. I, Nex Undique, accept this nomination for adminship. I have read the policies concerning administrators. I realise that this nomination may fail. If I do get community consensus, I promise not to abuse my tools because I realise that this is a serious offence. If the community finds that I have done so, my tools will be revoked, and in extreme cases I could be given a community ban. Signed, ɳex undique

Questions for the nominee

1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
I would be most active in anti-vandalism and deleting images/articles. Currently I tag many images for speedy deletion (and the odd spam article), and rather than tagging them and letting them wait until another admin deletes them, I could do it myself. I also actively take part in anti-vandalism, and instead of informing another admin to hand out a block, I circumvent that, and hand it out quicker.

2. What are your best contributions to the RuneScape Wiki, and why?
One of the best would be that I have added maps to several hundred NPC articles, and although I haven't do so in a while, I still plan to make more. I've also started to weed out every article that uses the <ref> tag, and replace them with the proper citation template. Another would be that I've deleted many unnecessary {{stub}} tags, and plan to clean out the undeserving stubs in that category.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I haven't gotten into many conflicts with people, the only ones I can remember are a few short-lived ones with User:Adam Savage. I always try to keep a cool head, and a as a result, the conflicts stay minor.

Additional questions (asked by the community if necessary)

It seems that you have had long periods of absence from the wiki, most notably a four month break from August to December. Will there be absences like this in the future? ʞooɔ 09:34, May 11, 2011 (UTC)

I can't promise that there won't be a few short absences every now and then (if anything major suddenly pops up, summer vacation, etc), but there won't be absences as big as that again. I had some stuff to deal with, but that finished months ago. ɳex undique 20:24, May 11, 2011 (UTC)

Support - Rsa is a great contributor to this wiki, and I would love to see him/her get the powers that he/she deserves for making such constructive edits, helping users, reverting vandalism, and helping the wiki in any way possible. Support! Adam SavageSpeech cursor 17:03, May 11, 2011 (UTC)

Support - Valuable, does work and accomplishes what he sets out to do. --クールネシトーク 19:36, May 11, 2011 (UTC)

Pending - Looking at your forum contributions, you've only actually contributed to a few Yew Grove discussions. The rest of your edits in the forum namespace are semi-automated categorization/maintenance. I like to see an admin involved in the community, especially on the Yew Grove. I'll wait a little while before making my decision. Andrew talk 20:07, May 11, 2011 (UTC)

Neutral - I'm sure you'll make an excellent sysop, but in order to earn my support one must be an active participant in Yew Grove discussions. You have almost none of that, so I'm afraid I can't support. Andrew talk 20:44, May 18, 2011 (UTC)

Support - Very active antivandal, and does many requests for things that require sysop tools. Having those tools would speed up those things a lot. Also, because he's active in the IRC quite a lot, him being admin would make requests dealt with faster. JOEYTJE50TALKpull my finger 00:03, May 12, 2011 (UTC)

Not yet - I don't think you have enough under your belt yet. (: Urbancowgurl777 (talk) 16:19, May 12, 2011 (UTC)

Go for it - Looking at your contributions, you do a real mixture - vandlebashing, maintenence, and rewrites, and while you don't contribute to discussions very ofen, your opinions tend to be quite well thought-out. I also counted about 75 reports to the CVU, so you would obviously benefit from the blocking tools as well as other admin duties. One of the best candidates on ≤the wiki. Support, good countervandal, seems mature enough to handle the tools. ajr 13:17, May 13, 2011 (UTC)

Support - I would like to see some more yew grove/community discussion, but that isn't a reason to disqualify someone who could use the tools. People work well in different areas, and maybe that isn't one of yours. Your edits seem good, you have a good reason to request the tools, I see no reason to oppose. Support - Definitely would be able to use admin tools to their full potential, and will be able to use them fairly and wisely. Dragon 2h sword oldCallofduty4 Talk 13:53, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

Comment - I really have not seen very much of you. Matt (t) 00:46, May 15, 2011 (UTC)

That would be because of time zone differences, Matt. Not all Americans stay up past 3 am. Suppa chuppa Talk 21:32, May 15, 2011 (UTC)

Support - Great editor and antivandal. Whenever I'm unable to check old RC, he's there to cover for me. Suppa chuppa Talk 21:32, May 15, 2011 (UTC)

Qualified support - I have some issues with your long stretches of inactivity, lack of experience with discussions, and somewhat recent arrival to the community. That said, you've done a bunch of helpful, diverse things that make you a great asset to the wiki. You're a good, fun guy who I think sysop tools would be very helpful to. So long as you can assure me that you'll stick around (or at least give us notice when you leave) and get more experience in discussions before you start closing things left and right, I see no reason not to support this. ʞooɔ 19:03, May 18, 2011 (UTC)

Neutral for now - I agree with Andrew about the need for discussions, but I can't see a reason to outright oppose either. --LiquidTalk 20:50, May 18, 2011 (UTC)

Support What is this I don't even...? I thought he was already an admin! Hurry up and sysop him! Big smile S T Y G 03:26, May 24, 2011 (UTC)

Closed - Nex Undique will be sysopped. Dtm142 02:14, May 25, 2011 (UTC)
