With forum Administrative powers, I wish to improve the RS Wikia Forums, Helping users and answering questions. I Hang around the Forums, joining in all the creative posts, and usually refer there if I have the slightest doubt on something, or just a simple question. I understand if I don't qualify to become a Forum Admin, but I'll still be helping out in the forums, and on the Mainpages.

I, Stormsaw1, accept this nomination for adminship. I have read the policies concerning administrators. I realize that this nomination may fail. If I do get community consensus, I promise not to abuse my powers because I realize that this is a serious offence and if the community finds that I have done so, my powers will be revoked and in extreme cases I could be given a community ban. Questions for the nominee

1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in? I Wish to become a Forum Administrator, Because I am constantly reading, answering, and writing different posts.

2. What are your best contributions to the RuneScape Wiki, and why?

I am a member of the Welcoming Committee, and I enjoy adding welcome templates to new user's talk pages, informing them about different opportunities RS wikia Has to offer.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

Some of the edits I've made were corrected almost instantly by some more experienced users, which made me feel very frustrated, but mostly confused about how fast they knew about my mistakes. Until I found out about the recent changes page. Duh! Now, I always make sure any big changes are accurate,clearly understandable,and readable.

Oppose - You are pretty new to the forums. Keep in mind that forum admins are supposed to moderate the forums with their abilities, and you haven't really mentioned that you would do that. There are plenty of users that "hang around the Forums, joining in all the creative posts, and usually refer there if I have the slightest doubt on something, or just a simple question... constantly reading, answering, and writing different posts". There are plenty of non-forumadmins that exhibit all of those. I'm not saying you're bad on forums but it seems to me you wouldn't really use the tools and know how to. Admin tools aren't for all forum-goers. "Forum Administrators have full sysop powers on the forums (lock topics, delete posts, warn and ban users, and perform numerous other actions). In addition, they can create and modify stickies, announcements, global announcements, and polls." I don't think you would use these tools and you express no desire to actually moderate them... Nice to see you on forums anyways. Convince us you wouldn't abuse the tools. If the forums are really clean already, why would we need a forum admin? Look, I'm happy to support an RfF by anyone, I just need to know that I can trust them with the tools and I need to know that they would never even think about abusing the tools. Right now I don't think we know you enough to judge you. Just wait a while, get some more posts, get involved in more discussions, show that you can and would rightly use these tools, follow the rules, et cetera, and I think most of us would support. Oppose - Do you even understand what forum admins do? It seems like you think, which may in part or totally be because you're so new, that it's a privilege and a title to wear with pride. It's not - the only difference between a forum admin and you, me or hundreds (thousands?) of others here is a few tools. I do not at all think that you have proven yourself capable of rightly using these tools. It's good to have you on the forums, it's one of those cases of the more the merrier, but I think that forum admin tools is a bit over the top. You simply show no intent in using the tools that are granted when one gets forum admins rights. The tools that these users have access to is the only thing that makes them different from other users on the forums.  Jedi ^{Talk HS Log Tracker}  00:09, January 6, 2010 (UTC)

Don't even try baiting me. There is nothing that you're "supposed" to do because everyone supports/opposes based on their own opinion. I've told you why I don't think you should be a forum admin, so obviously in order to gain my support you would need to fix what I've mentioned. Oppose - I am not convinced you understand what your asking for, and you have not shown any maturity in the "Well, 'Andrew'" comment. I am not an active user of the forums, but I trust my fellow wikians when they say that they are running efficiently as of now. Stick around the wiki for a while longer, and we will see. Comment/Oppose - Given your reaction to the other editor's criticisms and comments, I feel that you are not well adapted for adminship. It seems that you aren't handling the criticism well, which, as Stelercus said, indicates a lack of maturity. Oppose - I am new myself, but I think anyone should have a history of at least a few months before obtaining a role as such. I have to agree with others, your reaction to the constructive criticism posted here was very negative and can use some work. Teady159

Oppose - While I probably shouldn't partake in this RFF since I rarely go on the wiki forums, from reading this page I can tell you don't handle critisism well (justified or not). Because of that, I don't think that you would be able to handle the unjustified critisism of vandals well, which is what a f mod would have to be able to do.
