I, Jimihendrixowns, nominate Thisguyown to be an admin. He definitely has the brains to become one, he provided an excellent speech on the philosophy of language on the forum post we created together, and has a talent for giving good debates, as seen in the forum dealing with spelling and grammar punctuation. I think that a lot of people would like him and he deserves to be an admin because of his contributions to the forums. I noticed that in one day he edited all articles dealing with runescape skills. He has created his account only since the beginning of February and done this much. I sincerely think that he should become an admin for his intelligence, friendliness, and hard work.--Jimihendrixowns 01:28, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
I, Thisguyown, accept this nomination for adminship. I have read the policies concerning administrators. I realize that this nomination may fail. If I do get community consensus, I promise not to abuse my powers because I realize that this is a serious offence and if the community finds that I have done so, my powers will be revoked and in extreme cases I could be given a community ban. Discussion
- Oppose - my points:
- Being an admin isn't about debating.
- Most editors were here months (like 5+) before becoming admins, not days.
- Some users, myself included, edit hundreds of pages a day, not just 25 or however many skill pages there are.
- Which is another point - he only has 25 mainspace edits.
- He was blocked from the forums because of flaming.
- This was on a page where he was arguing against using proper spelling and grammar, which you claim he does use (he doesn't).

- Speedy close - User has very few edits (and isn't able to vote on VfD). By community concensus, Thisguyown should wait for a longer period of time and make more edits before being sysopped.
