Ah, I wanted to ask before actually nominating myself but creating a forum thread felt pretty much the same as just nominating me but with additional steps. I haven't been too active in this particular wikia, but the reason why I'd like to apply for the title is because of the many years I spent doing my best to make the Spanish Wikia a presentable place. You see... when I first arrived to that place it was in a state of complete disarray. There were less than 10 active editors online, and the "best" of them was someone (this fella in case you're wondering) who just mass-created empty articles leaving them for anyone else to fill with information. Not only that but the owner was long gone and the admin was nowhere to be seen either. So without any other option left I reached out to Wikia itself to grant me a small degree of control over the community, a process which they allow only if all the administrative users are inactive and have been so for a certain amount of time. After being granted power I started working bit by bit on it for like a year and a half, until finally people started getting engaged once again, and I could pass on my job to someone else just as engaged.
Throughout the years I have been gone there were many issues, like for example a RS blog (rslatinos, now defunct) trying to steal the whole wikia and at some point having almost the entirety of the SPANISH wikia in ENGLISH due to massive copy-pasting of articlees... but I'd like to think that the fact that the Wikia still stands is at least partly thanks to the efforts of yours truly and the users I mentioned above, which I would like to nominate if your community agrees to give Wikian titles to Wiki users of other languages' communities. (And if they become active again, afaik they're not playing anymore).
