Wikifest: Spring 2009 !!!

Information

This Spring Wikifest is going to run a little differently this year. How? Well, it's going to run ALL DAY! We are introducing the first All Day Wikifest!!! This is to help ensure that all of our users, across the whole world will get to enjoy the many benefits the wikifest gets to hold without having to worry so much about waking in the night to attend a single main event. Isn't that exciting!!!

Well, for those who still love the main event, don't worry! We're going to have one of them too! We've basically split the fest into two. We'll be hosting 1 main event, which will take place starting 20:00 UTC. Throughout the rest of the day, we will be running individual, smaller events run by other wikians, such as yourself.

Main Event

This fest's main event will begin at 20:00 UTC, on April 18th, 2009 as determined in mainspace vote . Its schedule is as follows:

The Spring Wikifest Event Schedule

Time (GMT/UTC)	Events	Leaders of Events
20:00 - 20:20	Log on to World 29. Get costumes ready, general preparation, etc, and make your way to the Jolly Boar Inn. Players are asked to join the Official Clan Chat: R S WIKIA.	Bonziiznob & God Of War
20:20 - 20:50	Costume Competition - Players will divide themselves in two lines, members on the east side, free players on the west. Players will be judged based on the creativity, originality and randomness of their costume. To ensure complete fairness, members costumes will not be judged with free player costumes. There are three judges to judge both F2P and P2P Costumes, and players will advance based on a best 2/3 vote: Bonziiznob represents Members Judge, Pikaandpi and C Teng represents Free Players Judge. After the competition, players are asked to gear up for Clan Wars either at the Varrock Bank, or the Bounty Hunter Bank (preferred)	Bonziiznob, Pikaandpi & C Teng
20:50 - 21:00	Travel to Clan Wars	God Of War & Doucher4000
21:00 - 21:45	Clan Wars. Players are allowed to organize and play how they want. We request that this remain a safe minigame. Players who split from the Official Wikia Clan Chat are asked to rejoin when this event expires.	God Of War & Doucher4000
21:45 - 22:10	Stronghold of Security, Level 1 Raid. Players will travel to the Security of Stronghold and will attack any and all creatures on the first level. Players of a higher level are welcome to proceed through the stronghold.	Bonziiznob & God Of War
22:10 - 22:30	Varrock Hide'n'Seek. Our official hider is Jediadam4 with backup hider Doucher4000. Players will search the city of Varrock in search of the hiding user. The first user to find them will win an award.	Jediadam4 & Doucher4000
22:30 - 22:40	Falador raid. Players will travel to Falador from Varrock via walking. Players are asked to grab their Broomstick, Snow Globe, Easter Carrot, or Rubber Chicken and proceed to perform their actions on non-wikian users. It will be fun to see a whole wikia sweeping, whacking and snowballing a few users.	Bonziiznob & God Of War
22:40 - 22:50	To toast the wikia, players will proceed to the local bar in Falador (Rising Sun Inn) and drink. Emotes and celebration chat is recommended, but please no slander, spam and no advertising of the wikia.	Bonziiznob & God Of War
22:50+	Split - Official Main Event Ends (Suggested Continuation) F2P - Go to Crandor to kill Lesser Demons and Moss Giants P2P - Go to world 28 to Fortress Wars and origami balloons.

As mentioned above, we will be having several users in charge of running the main event. These users, as mentioned above, will hold the following positions in the main event:

Drop Party

Between 22:30 and 23:00 players will hold a drop party in the Falador Party Room, which will consist of one drop. Players are asked to NOT deposit their items until 22:45. If you can contribute to this drop, please sign below using # and the items you can contribute. Thanks!

All Day Events

As this fest will be running throughout the day, and as we can only have 1 main event, we would like to invite you, the users, to make this happen. By moving to this page, we ask that you will host an event at which other users can register for and attend. We endorse that only safe events are allowed, as to deter any users from losing their items. We also ask that you do not plan any events that will conflict with the main event time or locations.

Please do not use the R S WIKIA clan chat for your individual events.

Basically, to do this, we ask you follow a simple format (prone to change). Below is an example of a user wanting to host a race:

What?	Players will meet in Lumbridge and race to Al Kharid, Varrock, Barbarian Village, Draynor Manor, Rimmington, then finish in Falador.
