I like it =). I expanded it, and added that the first thing users should do when they get into an edit war is to refer to the style guide for the solution. After all, many edit wars are just stubborn fights which could be resolved in a second by simply scanning the style guide. I put Whip's method as the alternative in the case of no other solution. Should we protect policy pages? People could still suggest additions/clarifications on their talk pages. Neutrality

I urge you to remember that Wikia is independent and neutral, people seem to be adopting a U.S approach to law on this page wheras U.S laws arent in effect for users in other countrys. So, in effect something that may be illegal in your country might not be in others countrys. Rabbit Fear 15:20, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

All I've been able to find out is that someone can only be risk being arrested if they are threating to kill someone which wasn't mentioned in the deleted text. Rabbit Fear 15:55, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

It depends upon your country. In America, technically it falls under terroristic threatening, which would be a violation of the Patriot Act, meaning yes, you could be prosecuted. The likeliness of it happening, close to none. Halo^Talk 21:51, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

As per Halo, it is completely true. But it can get very hairy since there are so many different countries and policies/laws. Yes you can be prosecuted, but unless you want to spend tons of money over a lawyer with overseas affairs (if it is outside America) you will just dig yourself a hole.
