In Dungeoneering, Rune essence can be purchased from the smuggler for 50 coins. It is sold in pouches and therefore stacks. Unlike regular rune essence, the rune essence in Daemonheim can be used to craft any rune. Non-members can also use the rune essence there to craft runes that would normally only be craftable by members, except soul, blood and astral runes, which are only used in members-only spells.
