The rune halberd, similar to all halberds, is for members only. A halberd is a two-handed melee weapon. To wield it, a player must have at least level 50 Attack.

Like all other halberds, players cannot make this weapon using the Smithing skill.

It is fairly popular among lower-levelled players who are attracted by the distance attacking capabilities of the more powerful Dragon halberd, but lack the combat stats, Agility level, or simply the inclination to complete Regicide (which itself requires completion of the Underground Pass, Biohazard and Plague City quests.)
