Scabaras tomb can be reached after completing Diamond in the Rough. Entering requires level 80 Mining and will reward the player with 20,000 Mining experience on the first time. It can be entered through by going completely through the tunnel in the Kalphite Nursery (not to be confused with the Kalphite Hive). Enter the nursery, slide down the tunnel entrance on the eastern side. At the end of the tunnel enter the exit, you will then enter a room with a sun-dial and be able to mine the crack in the floor. Entering the crack leads directly to the Scabaras tomb.
In the room, players can obtain the Scabaras mask and the Was. Equipping the mask and the Ankh is required for the Elite Desert Tasks.
