The scarecrow mask is a reward that can be obtained by redeeming a red RuneScape membership card from 11 October 2012 to 31 October 2012 or by purchasing the gold membership package between 20 December 2012 and 31 January 2013.
The mask can be stored in the toy box in the costume room of a player-owned house.
As of the 18 March you can purchase the override for this item from Solomon's Store for 30336 loyalty points or 158 Runecoins (142 with the 10% member's discount).

Trivia
- The examine of the mask is a reference to the supervillain Scarecrow, who was fixated on finding and exploiting peoples fears including those of his nemesis Batman.
- Since 24th October 2012 the mask can be equipped by F2P players, as stated in the Patches Notes of that day.
