By adding a Chef's delight (barrel) in a player-owned house (unlimited uses to raise Cooking +5%) with cooking gauntlets and 99 Cooking, players will burn roughly three out of every twenty, or 15%. With level 99 Cooking and using the Cooking cape to temporarily raise Cooking to level 100, players only burn about one out of eight sea turtles, or 12.5%. One of the best places for cooking sea turtles is at the Lumbridge Castle cooking range.
Sea turtles are difficult to sell because rocktails and sharks are more easily obtained and cheaper.
