Sealed clue scroll (elite) is part of the Treasure Trails Distractions and Diversion. Opening one will turn it into an active clue scroll (elite).
Elite difficulty clue scrolls are a random drop from a large variety of high-level monsters.
Looting a magical chest from the dwarven instinct aura, or unlocking Gold key chests within the Shades of Mort'ton minigame can award elite clue scrolls, as well as chopping crystal trees. The monsters in elite dungeons can also drop elite clue scrolls, although they require the assistance of lucky charms.
Pickpocketing elven clan workers is an considered the easiest way to obtain an elite clue scroll, as it does not require as much attention compared to the other methods.
Tier 4 luck enhancers such as Hazelmere's signet ring and Luck of the dwarves can increase the chances of obtaining an elite clue scroll.
Stanley Limelight Traders sell elite clue scrolls for 200 thaler each. Players may also buy an elite clue scroll from Zaida for 100 treasure trail points.
Once each week, players may loot the treasure chest decoration in their player-owned aquarium, and defeat the skeletal horror for an elite clue each. Completion of Triskelion Treasures will always award an elite clue.
After completing the Do No Evil quest and acquiring Ava's alerter, players are able to locate a buried elite clue scroll.
Players are able to hold a soft cap of 25 of each tier of sealed clue scroll.
