The Seren shard (dark) is an optional, fifth major shard of Seren, where players will be given a choice to include this shard in her restoration. It is a remnant of the Dark Lord, where it has been flung over to the very edge of the Grand Library by the energy released by the Dark Lord's death.
It is found in The Light Within quest in the south-western corner of the Grand Library, where players will be given a choice to either pick up the shard or kick it into the depths below, never to be seen again.
