Sever is the highest level Attack basic ability at level 45. It has no weapon requirements and is compatible with any melee weapon. It deals 37.6-188% ability damage.
Sever is the highest-hitting basic ability available for melee and also reduces damage dealt by the target by 10% for 5 seconds. The ability has a 15 second cooldown, buffed from its previous cooldown of 30 seconds since the Legacy update.
Due to its high damage, it is commonly used as an opening move and whenever its cooldown wears off.
