Starting out[]
- Talk to Father Reen south of Al Kharid bank. (
) - Talk to Father Badden in Uzer, east of Shantay Pass. ( ••)
- Pick and grind a black mushroom and dye Silverlight black. (You can find some beside the staircase)
- Go down the stairs and talk to Evil Dave wearing your 3 black items and your dyed Silverlight. ( •)
Ritual[]
- Talk to Denath. ( )
- Talk to Jennifer to get a demonic sigil mould. ( )
- Talk to Matthew. ( )
- Go to any furnace and smelt a demonic sigil. ( ) Your black outfit can be discarded at this point and replaced with combat gear.
- Talk to the clay golem outside about last night. ( )
- Look-in the nearby Broken kilns for a book until you have found the Demonic tome.
- Read the Demonic tome, and talk to Matthew back in the lair.
- Go north to talk to Denath and write down the incantation he tells you. ( 4)
- Complete the circle and click the sigil to chant the incantation. Don't forget the incantation as you will need it later on in quest again.
- Be sure to take the sigil from the floor, or you will have to make a new one at a furnace.
- Exit the portal and take Tanya's sigil.
- Tell Evil Dave to return to the lair - you should have 4 sigils now. ( )
Rallying the troops[]
- Go up the stairs, Talk to Father Badden ( 3) and Father Reen. ( )
- Talk to the golem, he will refuse to help. ( )
- Use the Strange implement on the golem, then talk to him again. He'll now agree to help.
The final fight[]
- Talk to Matthew to start the incantation. ( )
- Chant Demonic Sigil and say the incantation backwards.
- Kill the demon with Silverlight (dyed).
- Unequip Darklight to choose your reward.
- Quest complete!
Rewards[]
- 1 quest point
- 10,000 experience in any combat skill, except Prayer and Summoning
- Demonic sigil (can be used to chant any number of times even after the quest)
- Demonic tome (updated in your bookcases)
- Silverlight turns into Darklight: It is even more powerful against demons. If a player loses Darklight, it can be retrieved by talking to Grüfeld Bach at Varrock's north church. You must have him replace Silverlight for you first.
- You can loot the demon throne at the north end of the room to obtain 2 emeralds, 2 sapphires, and 2 rubies
- 2 Treasure Hunter keys and 2 Hearts of Ice
- Music unlocked
