Shady strangers are attackable NPCs that can be found in Draynor Village. The ones without hoods are Suspicious outsiders.They play a role in the While Guthix Sleeps quest, as the player must capture one for questioning. They are impossible to kill, unless you bind them. Even when bound, they can only be killed with ranged or magic damage. A player must then land hits dealing 800 damage or up.
Even with strong melee attacks, the last hit dealt to a Shady stranger will always leave them with 100 life points remaining, upon which they will then teleport out with the phrase "Uh oh time to go!"

When you speak to the Shady stranger or Suspicious outsider, he will make up excuses to cover up the real reason he is stationed in Draynor.
- Player: Hello, what are you doing here?
- Shady Stranger/Suspicious Outsider: Err, nothing much, just in here on business. Heard Draynor's a nice place to visit.
