The sharpened hatchet is a quest item used in the One Small Favour quest. It is obtained by giving the blunt hatchet to Brian in Port Sarim after helping his friend Aggie free her apprentice. The player must take the sharpened axe back to the forester south-east of Shilo Village in order to proceed in the quest. Brian, unlike many other people in the quest whom you must do favours for, will be happy to supply you with more hatchets without charge should you lose the first one.
