Shock is a basic Magic ability that is unlocked from the Scare Tactics book. It stuns and knocks back the target, as well as dealing 20-100% ability damage.
The stun from shock is not long enough to gain the effect from Wrack, as the stun only lasts for 1.2 seconds and abilities may only be activated every 1.8 seconds.
Compared to its melee counterpart, Kick, it does not require being in melee distance and can attack from a distance. The 1 square knockback and stun only happens if the attack successfully hits and the mob is 1x1 square size.
The threshold version of this ability is Horror.
This ability shares its cooldown timer with other basic stuns (Backhand, Kick, Binding Shot, Demoralise and Impact).
