Shoes are used in the Spirits of the Elid quest. They can be taken from the mayor of Nardah's house and if the player uses a knife on them, they will obtain a pair of soles. Toward the end of the quest the player must give these to the genie who lives in the crevice to the west of Nardah in exchange for the Statuette of Elidinis. They can be worn, but offer no bonuses.
