The singing bowl in Brimstail's cave

Singing bowls are bowls that are used to enchant a crystal seed into a crystal item after completion of The Eyes of Glouphrie quest. There are four singing bowls located at the following places: Brimstail's cave in the Tree Gnome Stronghold, Yewnock's cave in Tree Gnome Village Dungeon, Bolrie's Lab in Lletya, and in the Ithell Clan district in Prifddinas.

Tree Gnomes

One singing bowl is in Brimstail's cave in the Tree Gnome Stronghold. The player can use the bowl to convert a small crystal seed into a crystal saw and it can also be used to revert a crystal saw or a crystal chime into a small crystal seed. This bowl becomes available during and after The Eyes of Glouphrie quest.

Another singing bowl is in Yewnock's cave in the Gnome Village Dungeon. The player can use this bowl to convert a small crystal seed into a crystal chime (not a saw) and it can also be used to revert a crystal saw or a crystal chime into a small crystal seed. This bowl becomes available during and after The Path of Glouphrie quest.

During The Prisoner of Glouphrie, a singing bowl can be found in Bolrie's Lab in Lletya, used as part of an anti-illusion device.

Prifddinas

After completion of the Plague's End quest, players gain access to an additional singing bowl in the Ithell Clan district of Prifddinas. The bowl is near the Ithell statue north of the sawmill.

The bowl in Prifddinas can be used along with harmonic dust to create a variety of crystal equipment from the following crystal seeds:

• Crystal teleport seed – Can be used with 150 harmonic dust to fully charge a depleted seed with 4 charges.
• Attuned crystal teleport seed – Combine an empty crystal teleport seed and 4000 harmonic dust with 85 Smithing to create an item allowing unlimited teleports around Prifddinas and Lletya. Can also teleport to the Temple of Light after completing Within the Light.
• Crystal weapon seed / attuned crystal weapon seed – Can be used with a varying amount of harmonic dust to create Crystal weapons and their attuned counterparts.
• Crystal armour seed / attuned crystal armour seed – Can be used with a varying amount of harmonic dust to create Crystal armour and their attuned counterparts.
• Crystal tool seed – Can be used with harmonic dust to create a variety of crystal tools.
• Small crystal seed – Can be used to create either a crystal chime (requires completion of the Path of Glouphrie quest) or a crystal saw (requires completion the Eyes of Glouphrie quest, this saw has differing functions from the saw created from a crystal tool seed see the individual items page for details on function).

The bowl can also be used to revert crystal equipment back into seed form. The bowl cannot be used to create crystal hatchets or pickaxes, to create these a dragon hatchet or pickaxe must be given to Lady Ithell along with 4,000 harmonic dust.
