The Smithing crate (small) is an item that can be won from the Squeal of Fortune which contains a variety of Smithing materials; there is also a chance for an additional reward. The exact materials are based on the player's crate and the amount is less than what is in the larger crate. It replaces the medium lamps of the corresponding type. During the weekend of 12 October 2012, players had twice the odds of getting this crate than usual.
