Snow implings are a festive holiday hunter creature released during the 2012Christmas event, A Stray in a Manger. Players can hunt them for festive items. They also spawn Snowballs, saying something merry as they do so. Possible phrases it can say include "Jingle bells!", "Merry Chrimbo!" and "Ho, ho, ho!".
Snow implings before 2017 could be caught in impling jars to give a snow impling jar. However, there was no benefit to doing so.
Snow implings during the 2017 event didn't spawn in a completely random manner, and some areas spawned a large amount of implings in a relatively small amount of time, the most notable place where this occurred was in Burthorpe.
These could only be found once, and could easily be found from trading the gift of giving. Players could return the four snow implings in a jar (Petey, Eddy, Lucy, and Susy) to their snow imp in any of his locations for 50,000 bonus Hunter xp per jar.
Snow implings had the ability to place snowballs after wishing all around them a merry Christmas. Because snow implings could fly over some terrain inaccessible by players, these snowballs could be placed in unreachable places, like in the middle of the ocean.
The four implings your Snow Imp is looking for are named after the main characters in the book series The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S.Lewis.
Snow implings originally gave 200 clockwork pieces per catch during the Going Like Clockwork event. This was hotfixed at 02:22 UTC on 13 November2017 to give 20 instead due to players completing the event too quickly and gaining mystery boxes at a fast rate.
The snow implings from 2017 don't seem to be able to fly over water, as implings that spawned near the entrance to the cave in the center of Taverley Lake always stopped at the water's edge instead of flying over the water.
The snow implings from 2017 spawned into the game in a way that was identical to a regular Imp, appearing with particles of smoke.
