Entering the Walrus Camp

Chuck will tell you that his agent, Teddy, was spying on the Penguins attempting to gather information about Larry. He was caught and became a Prisoner of Walrus. You will need to go to the seals in Rellekka near the rock crabs. Speak to Chuck again for a teleport to the Rellekka dock.

Convincing the seals to allow you inside

Upon approaching the seal on Rock Crab bay, you need to wake him up. When waking him up choose the option "I am looking for a Polar Bear." He refuses to tell you and you must find another way. After clicking that, choose the option "How can I entertain you?" then he says to do a dance. Use jump for joy or dance emote (not all emotes work) and talk to him again. Choose the option asking about the Penguins, then where his band lives. He will explain "Where all Penguins Live" and tell you that his favorite band is opressed by some "Old Guard".

Visiting Ping and Pong

Use Larry's old boat (which is the boat north of the seals) to travel to the Penguin Island. Upon reaching it, approach Ping and Pong who are the seal's "Favorite Band".

Upon speaking to them, Ping and Pong let you in on your own secret. They inform you they had always knew it was you in the suit and were waiting for you to tell them. They claim not to have told you because they wanted you to be comfortable with yourself. After speaking with them, they ask you to make a Rock costume and Pop costume in the War Room in the penguin glacier, or a Crafting table in your POH. They provide you with the following materials to make them:

Go to the Polar Bear in the North east Corner known as Jim. Choose the option Tuxedo-Time to get into your penguin suit.

Head northwest, somewhere along the way there will be a snow avalanche that you will need to investigate. Once inside, go all the way north along the passage. Talk to the gate guard in the booth a couple paces west of the door and he will let you through, citing that he does not want to be drugged up by you again. After getting through proceed to the War-Room in the north eastern corner of the cave. Select "Craft" on the work bench to create the suits. Press the red button next to large doors to exit. Then go back to Ping and Pong to give them the suits.

Take the boat back to the seals to have the band play and watch a cutscene where you visit the Walrus Camp. You cannot wear any items in or have any in your inventory, but at this point you will be given the option to bank your items there or take care of it yourself.

The Walrus Prison Camp

When you arrive at the Walrus Camp you need to talk to Teddy, a bear in a clown suit. Then talk to Larry who is in penguin costume, then you find out that he is insane and in need of a egg. To get the egg you have to make enough noise and distract the walrus.

Talk to Teddy again, then attempt to go into the walrus' tent, then talk to Noodle, who appears after you talk to Larry (south west). Encourage Teddy, Bouncer and Ping & Pong to make enough noise to get the walrus of the tent. Take the Bat in a Box out side walrus tent, to measure sound, and keep clicking them to encourage them. Keep doing this until all 3 bars are filled and you will get a couple of dialogue of the walrus complaining about the noises outside.

When he walks outside, get inside the tent and steal from the table to get a egg, walk out, and give it Larry. Talk to the polar bear after that. He will request you to talk all to the penguins excluding ping and pong and the old penguin. After you done that report back to Teddy. After this talk to the old chess playing penguin to get a list how to make Battlefish - a Battleship style board game.

  • Fish the hole to the north east for a shark tooth and a squid
  • Take board from the wood scrap pile north of the easternmost building which contains food.
  • Search the kitchen for Olive oil and an popsicle tray
  • Talk to Teddy to get a chequered piece of cloth
  • Search the shelves in the washroom to the south west to get lye, a corkscrew and a hammer.

Then:

  1. Use the Lye on the olive oil to make soap
  2. Use the soap on the popsicle tray to get game pieces
  3. Use the squid on the popsicle tray to colour them.
  4. use the hammer on the pieces to carve them
  5. Use the cloth on the board to make a gameboard
  6. Take the game to Plaza, the old penguin

After you gave the penguin his game you will get the blueprint. Give it to Teddy and he tells you that there is a problem with the engine and that you must fix it. Ask the old seal to help you. You will then start a game of Battlefish with the seal.

Tips for Battlefish:

The solution to the Battlefish game.

The shortest piece in the game is 3 squares, therefore space your shots out by 2 both vertically and horizontally. A good starting method is to hit the centre first (E5, E6, F5, F6) since there is almost always a ship there. Fire at only one of these 4 spots. Assuming you chose E5, your next shots would be B5, H5, E2, and E8. Slowly work your way out from there by choosing shots that are 2 squares apart. If you get a hit, check the squares to the north, south, east and west of it until you get another hit, then continue that way. If you get a miss, go the opposite direction. Example: Say you have a hit at E5 and E6, but get a miss at E7, reverse direction would be E4, as that is the next square in line with the other hits. You also should have a good chance as the CPU is stupid and often chooses spots its already hit, and will stop attacking a ship after 3 hits usually.

Repairing the Engine

After defeating Astoria in Battlefish, go to the circus supplies storage building directly south. Search the crate labeled Circus prop and return to Teddy. You will then have to repair the engine of the submarine.

Repaired Engine1

A Fully Repaired engine excluding the insulated wire

  1. Select the bowling pin and use it on the lever opening
  2. Select the Hula Hoop and use it on the broken valve wheel
  3. Select the Circus plate and use it on the Pressure Gauge
  4. Use the Pointing Hand on the Pressure Gauge
  5. Use the Purple Handkerchief on the Broken Pipe
  6. Select the balloon and use it on the metal wire in your supply box creating an insulated wire
  7. Use the insulated wire on the wirebox

Escaping

Larry's a daddy

Sheldon is born.

After repairing the submarine's engine, you have to escape on the submarine by playing battleship and repairing the ship. The battleship board is different for all players. Keep everything repaired by assigning roles. If the health bar empties, you fail the escape and have to restart by waking up the seal again.

For this final battle, the most important thing is keeping your workers assigned to fixing the ship. As soon as you see that they have regained the ability to work again, (a full blue bar, rather than orange) you can assign them to go back to repairing the ship. Then proceed to try to hit the Seal ships. A good way to end this quickly is to cut off all possible locations of the ships. The seals have 2 ships that are 4 squares long and one that is 3 squares long.

Getting hit will decently decrease your health. You can regain some by repairing the ship where needed.

The health bar is reset for every seal ship you destroy. This means finding the opposing ships should be the first objective.

The seal positions are entirely random, hope for the best. One strategy is to click spaces 3 or 4 spaces away from one another systematically in order to slowly find ships. Some have claimed that allowing the game to take turns for you helps with finding the seals, however the game will only take turns for you when you have assigned somebody to the torpedoes. Others claim there are only a few set positions, however this is not proven. At the very least, there are over 25 different setups, according to players.
